Review of Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacokinetics appoints Prof. Theofanis Katostaras as Editor-in-Chief
The Editorial Office of the Review of Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacokinetics is delighted to announce the appointment of Prof. Theofanis Katostaras as Editor-in-Chief of the journal, joining Dr Eleni S. Plessa in leading the journal’s editorial activities and further strengthening its scientific development.
Prof. Katostaras is a faculty member at the Faculty of Nursing, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. Throughout his academic career, he has developed significant expertise in biostatistics, epidemiology, clinical research methodology, diagnostic research, and health services research. His research contributions cover a broad range of clinical and biomedical fields, including diagnostic evaluation, healthcare quality and efficiency, clinical outcomes, intensive care research, nursing science, and health economics.
Prof. Katostaras has authored more than 80 scientific publications, which have received over 1,300 citations, reflecting the impact of his research contributions within the international scientific community. His work has contributed to advancing methodological approaches in clinical research and improving the understanding of healthcare outcomes through rigorous statistical and epidemiological analysis.
The appointment of Prof. Katostaras represents an important milestone in the continued growth and international development of the Review of Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacokinetics.
