The 1st International Babylon Conference on Clinical and Experimental Pharmacological Research took place on 4–5 May 2024 at the College of Pharmacy, University of Babylon, in Hillah, Iraq. It brought together Iraqi and international researchers to present clinical and experimental work, identify Iraqi research priorities, and encourage international collaboration. Key themes included medicinal plant extracts, antibiotic resistance, and the use of nanotechnology to improve drug pharmacokinetics. The conference proceedings comprise 50 papers, including an editorial, and were published in Volume 38, Supplement 2 (2024) of the Review of Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacokinetics – International Edition.
